Call for Abstracts

Guidelines for abstract submission

The conference language is English. A panel of referees will decide upon the acceptance of the contributions based on the abstract.

Maximum length of abstract title: 150 characters (including spaces)

Abstracts of original research should be no longer than 2000 characters (including spaces). Immediately after submission, an automatic reply message will be generated and sent to the email address you provide.

Each participant can be the speaker of one oral presentation. Co-authorships or poster contributions are not restricted.

Presentations for an Offered Session must also be submitted here. Please select the relevant Offered Session under the given main topics.

In the case of 2 or more authors please indicate the corresponding author on the abstract.

At least one of the authors of the abstract must attend the IGC 2027 congress.

Authors with long processing times for visa or funding applications or other formalities should tick the appropriate box for the fast-track option, which means you will receive a decision on the acceptance of the abstract within 4 weeks. Please note that this information regarding the acceptance of your contribution does not yet include any information about the form of presentation or allocation to a session.

For all accepted contributions, abstracts will be compiled in the congress proceedings (book of abstracts). These proceedings will be provided online to all participants at the beginning of the congress.

In the case that your abstract is accepted, but you cannot attend the conference, please do not register. Please, contact the congress secretariat via email to designate one of your co-authors to present your work. The co-author must be registered for the conference. Failing to have a registered co-author designated will lead to the withdrawal of your contribution.

All accepted contributions will be published online upon the start of the conference. However, contributions that are not presented at the conference will be deleted from the online version of the proceedings.
